The First Day Complete book program, made available through the University bookstore, offers students a fixed price for their books. By opting into this system, books would be made available electronically through Canvas. Canadian students who wish to use paper copies could either pick them up directly from the bookstore or have them shipped. Students who choose paper copies are responsible to pay shipping costs of the books (both to them and for the return of the book at the end of the semester.) Please note that all books may not be available digitally.
Yes, students who do not want to be included in First Day Complete can opt out using the link available in their myNU. Students may opt-out of the first day book program within the first 7 days of the term to avoid the fee being added to their bill. Students opting out of the program are required to purchase the books on their own.
