About Niagara University in Ontario’s MS in Information Security and Digital Forensics (ISDF) Program


Learn to protect computer systems and cyber networks from breaches, and learn to collect and recover information after a cyber threat attack or hardware malfunction. In this program you will utilize professional applications in computer and mobile forensics, and will gain a technical understanding of network security, ethical hacking and privacy through hands-on training. The program equips individuals with the knowledge necessary for the Certified Information Systems Security Management Professionals (CISSP) certification.

This full-time study program is located in the heart of Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. The MS Information Security and Digital Forensics program provides students with a rigorous, advanced study in the areas of cybersecurity and digital forensics.

Earning your MS ISDF at Niagara University in Ontario:

  • prepares you to sit for the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation, which proves you have what it takes to effectively design, implement, and manage a world class cybersecurity program.
  • provides you with one full year of experience counted towards the work experience requirement for the CISSP designation.

Niagara University in Ontario is a Celebrite Academic Partner, which allows us to train and offer you qualifications and certifications within mobile forensics. In addition, Niagara University is also a partner with Exterro (producer of FTK) you will be eligible to earn your Access Data Certified Examiner (ACE) certification upon successful completion of:

  • CIS 565 – Computer Forensics I
  • CIS 585 – Computer Forensics II
