Get the competitive edge you need in your career with a Niagara University in Ontario MBA – and take advantage of all benefits of our MBA Finance Specialization.
The finance concentration gives students valuable insight into the key sub-areas of finance, including corporate finance, investment analysis, personal financial planning and portfolio management. Plus, it provides students the opportunity to earn their choice of two specific designations: the Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) designation, and/or the Investment Fund Institute of Canada (IFIC) certification.
The curriculum combines other finance-specific courses with those focused on content related to the CIFP, allowing students to earn the Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) designation while attending NUO. This designation is one of only two legally recognized financial planning designations in Canada.
The course curriculum includes content approved by the IFIC, allowing students to take the investment Fund Institute of Canada (IFIC) licensing exam as part of their final examination in the program. This in turn gives graduates the opportunity to more effectively pursue careers in the Canadian financial services industry.
Prospective NUO MBA students who are also CIFP members receive the following:
